Back to School Speech Therapy Freebies

I don’t know about you but when I see the word “free” I instantly get excited. When I’m doing a search for back to school resources on the Teachers Pay Teachers website, I typically hunt for free products first. Feel free to download the freebies I created below.

This Color Backpack Boom Cards Freebie is a great addition to your back to school activities. It includes a backpack theme and 2-3 answer choices to choose from. You can use this deck to help students identify colors.

This All About Me Freebie is a great way to get to know your students on the first day of school. It’s an easy and quick activity. It contains eight questions for students to answer such as favorite color, book, sport, animal, school subject, vacation, movie, and television show. They can color each picture as well when completed. These sheets can be hung on a bulletin board for the first couple of weeks of school so other students can learn about each other. This activity can also be a great ice-breaker activity.

Searching for a fun back to school articulation activity? These Back to School Dab Worksheets are engaging and filled with target sounds for articulation drill practice. It includes the following sounds: K, G, F, V, L, R, S, & Z in initial, medial and final position of words. There are 12 picture words on each page. Students will enjoy dabbing as they practice target sounds. No dauber available? Well, you can also have students color the pictures or use fun erasers to cover each picture as well. No preparation needed. These are also great for homework practice. Just print and go!
